Introducing...Lactation Consultant
Wednesday, May 08, 2013 Yad Eliezer is proud to announce its new lactation consultant, Riva Weissfish, who is available to consult with mothers over the phone, and will arrange free private home consultations in the Jerusalem area for low income mothers.
For over twenty years Yad Eliezer has been providing formula to babies from low income families whose mothers are unable to nurse them. But what about the mothers who want to nurse and are having trouble? Lactation consultants specialize in helping to overcome the obstacles that stand in the way of successful nursing, yet most charge a hefty fee. When income is limited and even the basics are not available, many mothers give up on nursing before consulting with a lactation coach. Yad Eliezer is glad to offer these services completely free of charge to mothers in need.
