Pesach With Yad Eliezer
Sunday, April 18, 2010Thousands of Israeli men, women, and children would like to thank you. Thanks to your donations, Pesach 2010 saw Yad Eliezer distributing some 3,260,000 NIS in food vouchers. These vouchers for supermarket purchases allowed some 5,000 impoverished Israeli families to celebrate Pesach with dignity.
Some 1,500 families additionally received several chickens for the holiday or direct financial aid, totalling some 375,000 NIS in chicken and financial aid distributions.
For these families, your meaningful gifts changed the Pesach holiday season from a time of distress to a time of joy. Thank you for giving the people of Israel the gift of freedom.
