IDF HOLIDAY DISTRIBUTION
HELP SOLDIERS IN NEED WITH FOOD FOR PESACH
This Pesach we are at war and Israel’s soldiers need your generous help more than ever.
Imagine what must go through the mind of a needy IDF soldier right now,
away from his family & fighting to protect Israeli lives but also worrying about the approach of Pesach and all the costs it brings.
Now imagine the reaction of that same soldier, upon receiving gift cards worth hundreds of shekels
for use at a major supermarket chain, in time for Yom Tov.
These, plus numerous other war-related challenges are making Pesach especially difficult for soldier-families in need this year.
So American Friends of Yad Eliezer | B'ezri is expanding our Holiday Relief Program for IDF Soldiers to bring increased tzedaka support that will enable them to buy food for Pesach. We need your help!
Once again we are partnering with a N.Y. based foundation in our crucial matching program.
Our goal is to raise $250,000 that will be doubled to $500,000, benefitting 3,100 soldiers including:
-married soldiers who can’t make ends meet for their families
-lone soldiers who have no family support
We are also urgently raising an additional $400,000 to help another 1,400 reservist soldiers.
That's $900,000 in aid for 4,500 struggling soldiers throughout Israel distributed in the form of supermarket gift cards,
so they can shop for Pesach foods including matza, wine, chicken & meat plus other items they need, and pay for their items with dignity.
With your help we will completely transform Pesach in thousands of households!
Please join us and we'll bring relief, a feeling of normalcy and a feeling of dignity to 4,500 soldiers.
Help them celebrate the holiday of freedom, as they fight so hard to safeguard ours.
