Ido Marak, bank manager in Jerusalem

You don't expect the guy who delivers groceries to wear a suit and tie. But then, Ido Marak is no ordinary delivery man. He is branch manager of a prestigious bank in Jerusalem.

As a banker Mr. Marak saves Yad Eliezer a small fortune. He arranged for the bank to provide all financial services gratis. There is never a fee. But this is not enough for Ido Marak.

Every Thursday he loads his car with heavy cartons of food and makes the rounds of Jerusalem's poorest neighborhoods.

The blind woman is waiting... The young mother and her newborn are waiting... The ancient widower lays in his sickbed waiting...

They aren't waiting just for the food. They are waiting for Ido who makes his rounds with infinite patience, smiling and humming a joyous tune as he goes about his errands.

The people think he's just another delivery man who just happens to overdress for his job. Little do they know who it is who so gladly lends them a hand.
