Nearly $700,000 this July for 'Operation Stand Behind Israel'
Wednesday, July 30, 2014This month Yad Eliezer distributed to residents of southern Israel and to IDF soldiers:
$14,000 baby formula
$55,000 food boxes
$107,000 soldiers care packages and clothing
$18,000 tzitit for 3000 soldiers
$25,000 toys for children in South (value of $50,000- toys were purchased at closeout wholesale prices)
$416,000 food coupons families and single mothers
$50,000 in one time stipends to assist families in desperate need
A total of nearly $700,000 was distributed!
