American Friends of Yad Eliezer now partners with B'ezri
The Gibber family, longtime friends and generous supporters of American Friends of Yad Eliezer/B’ezri, once again made this Yom Kippur one to remember.
In what has become a yearly tradition, the Gibbers hosted a beautiful & meaningful minyan over Yom Kippur at the Dan Panorama hotel in Jerusalem, donating all proceeds to benefit poor families, through American Friends of Yad Eliezer/B’ezri.
The minyan was like no other. The Gibber family brought in a professional men’s choir specifically for Yom Tov, who exquisitely accompanied the tfilla throughout. The family organized all the details necessary for the 160 participants including (but not limited to) seating arrangements, supplying Yartzeit candles and machzorim for the attendees and providing food for the break-fast. All elements came together seamlessly to create an especially moving and special Yom Kippur experience.
The family’s generosity covered all expenses and are donating every dollar raised (for seats, aliyahs, etc.) to our High Holiday Campaign, significantly contributing to the $3 million dollars we are distributing to more than 8,000 families for the holidays.
In the homes of 3,000+ needy IDF soldiers, 800+ single mothers, 900+ almanos and thousands of other struggling families, there is celebration instead of stress this High Holiday season, thanks to American Friends of Yad Eliezer/B’ezri, donors, and friends such as the charitable Gibber family, whom we thank wholeheartedly for their annual chesed initiative and ongoing philanthropy!
