1,000 gift packages for families across the country
Monday, December 11, 2023American Friends of Yad Eliezer/B'ezri is infusing extra joy and fun into Chanukah this year for 1,000 struggling families in Israel's south, north and Jerusalem area.
Families are receiving a gift package worth hundreds of shekels each, with art and painting projects, puzzles and books to provide hours of entertainment for children during the holiday (and beyond).
The gifts are making a profound impact on families, with grateful parents commenting that the items "are truly wonderful-bringing so much enjoyment and excitement to our children, brightening up our Chanukah in such a meaningful way".
This is just one of the many ways American Friends of Yad Eliezer/B'ezri continues to bring smart support and practical relief to families who are dealing with so much-even on holidays.
Chanukah is all about light and miracles-help us bring a bit of each into homes where they are so badly needed.
